Franklin home prices rise in the first quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2020 in Franklin rose by $10,965 while total sales decreased by 11.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2020, there were 83 homes sold, with a median sale price of $127,000 - a 9.4% increase over the $116,035 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 94 homes sold in Franklin in the first quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Franklin for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,890, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2020.
