Deerfield township issued the following announcement.
The Warren County CARES Act Grant program application window is still open, and the program has been increased both in overall size and the maximum amounts available per applicant. Program materials and guidelines can be found on the CARES Act Grant Program tab at www.co.warren.oh.us. Changes to the program are highlighted below.
The program focuses on 3 main areas, with $700,000 (increased from $350,000) being allocated to each area:
Small business (50 FTEs or less)
1-25 FTEs maximum grant amount is $5,000 (increased from $2,500)
26-50 FTEs maximum grant amount is $10,000 (increased from $5,000)
Non-profits (50 FTEs or less)
1-25 FTEs maximum grant amount is $5,000 (increased from $2,500)
26-50 FTEs maximum grant amount is $10,000 (increased from $5,000)
Licensed Type B, family based or center based childcare providers
Type B, family based providers maximum grant amount is $2,500
Center based providers maximum grant amount is $10,000 (increased from $5,000)
In addition, $25,000 has been set aside to assist volunteer based non-profits through a separate application (also attached and available at www.co.warren.oh.us)
The goal of this program is to offer aid to these types of organizations still struggling due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The application window is now open and runs through October 31.
