Ian Pennington, former Springboro High School standout, played on Saturday, April 12 in NCAA Division I baseball game

On Saturday, April 12, former Springboro High School standout Ian Pennington’s current college team, the Akron Zips, lost 8-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Central Michigan Chippewas.

The game took place at Skeeles Field. This was their second matchup against the Chippewas this season.

The Zips’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 1 p.m. at Skeeles Field against Central Michigan Chippewas.
