Landen home prices rise in the first quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2020 in Landen rose by $45,050 while total sales increased by 47.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2020, there were 53 homes sold, with a median sale price of $260,000 - a 21% increase over the $214,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 36 homes sold in Landen in the first quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Landen for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,782, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2020.
