Waynesville home prices rise in the second quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2020 in Waynesville rose by $70,500 while total sales decreased by 14.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2020, there were 35 homes sold, with a median sale price of $305,000 - a 30.1% increase over the $234,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 41 homes sold in Waynesville in the second quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Waynesville for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,511, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2020.
