Five Points home prices fall in the first half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2020 in Five Points fell by $84,750 while total sales decreased by 54.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2020, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $305,000 - a 21.7% decrease over the $389,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 24 homes sold in Five Points in the first half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Five Points for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $4,231, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2020.
