Rising home prices in Franklin in the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Franklin rose by $22,050 while total sales increased by 5.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 230 homes sold, with a median sale price of $157,500 - a 16.3% increase over the $135,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 218 homes sold in Franklin in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Franklin for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,890, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
