The City of Franklin recently issued the following announcement.
Are you a resident of Franklin with experience or an interest in engineering or zoning? If so, we invite you to consider applying for the vacancy on the City of Franklin Board of Zoning Appeals. The person in this seat should ideally have some background in planning, development, construction, or real estate, but such experiences is not required for this quasi-judicial body.
The Zoning Appeals Board is tasked with hearing and deciding appeals where there is alleged to be an error in any order, requirement, decision, or determination made by an administrative officer of the City under the City’s Unified Development Ordinance.
All interested applicants should fill out an application and return to it to Khristi Dunn, kdunn@franklinohio.org, by January 28, 2022. Applications are available at https://www.franklinohio.org/.../board-of-zoning-appeals
