The City of Franklin issued the following announcement.
Thank you to our 2021 Charter Review Commission for your work in reviewing the City of Franklin Charter! The Charter Review Commission is responsible for developing recommendations to amend the charter, and submitting those proposals to council. The Charter Review Commission performs a review every five years.
The selected Charter amendments will be submitted to the City’s electors as part of the May 3, 2022 Primary Election ballot for final review and approval/disapproval.
More information regarding the proposed amendments will be shared leading up to the election.
