FOIA Request to Clinton County Regarding Public Records from January to October 2024 on October 7, 2024.
At Warren-Clinton News, we have sent a request for public records under the Ohio Open Records Law, §149.43 et seq., to Clinton County. This request was made on October 7, 2024 and pertains to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) logs from the period of January 1, 2024, through October 7, 2024.
We are specifically seeking access to the following fields in these logs: Requester Name, Requester Organization, Request Content, Request Date, Request Complete Date and FOIA Status. We have asked for this information preferably in an electronic format for ease of review and analysis.
As a media organization committed to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we believe that access to these public records is crucial for our work. It allows us to hold public institutions accountable and provide transparency to the public.
In light of our role in disseminating information to the public as a media entity, we have also requested a fee waiver for this information.
