State Representative Bob Peterson recently honored Amberly Szczerbiak, the Ohio State Fair Queen, with a resolution during a House session. The recognition took place on Wednesday.

Szczerbiak, who hails from Peterson's district, first gained recognition as Fayette County’s Fair Queen last summer before advancing to win the title of Ohio State Fair Queen. She is actively involved in 4-H, FFA, and her local church and is currently pursuing her studies at Miami University.

"While recognizing Ohio Agriculture Day, we honored Fayette County’s own Amberly Szczerbiak," said Peterson. "Amberly has a heart for service and love for her community. Fayette County and Ohio are very proud of her!"
