State Representative Adam Mathews (R-Lebanon) participated in the White House State Leadership Conference last week, joining over 50 Ohio lawmakers and officials. The event was organized by the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs to encourage cooperation among federal, state, and local governments and to provide a space for discussing mutual priorities and policies.
Mathews expressed appreciation for the event. “Thank you to the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs for the incredibly productive visit,” said Mathews. “With Secretary Kennedy giving an overview of cleaning up Medicaid fraud, EPA Administrator Zeldin on being good stewards of the environment while promoting growth, and Secretary Lutnick on building an economy for all Americans, it was amazing to learn and ask questions in such an open setting.”
During the conference, Mathews met with senior members of the Trump Administration, including Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, and Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr., to discuss Ohio’s priorities.
